Call for Fellowship Mentors
We warmly call on our networks to share your experience and insight by becoming a mentor to an aspiring Environmental/Biodiversity Scientist. If you would like to participate, please confirm your interest by completing and submitting the questionnaire.
GreenMatter is a programme that supports young professionals and postgraduates working in the environmental and biodiversity related careers and businesses.
The Fellowship is unique in that it offers a range of development opportunities and welcomes graduates, young professionals and established leaders from all walks of life. It emphasises camaraderie, community and peer learning, while encouraging individual excellence. Financial support is complemented by networking, mentoring and structured professional development opportunities.
We find that there is enormous value in matching participants with a mentor who will provide support, advice and knowledge sharing; assisting them with a work plan sharing their experience and insight, connecting them to useful contacts and providing suggestions on their preferred career paths.
The following questionnaire should not take more than 5 - 10 minutes to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/H8BQLYB
The opportunity to work with GreenMatter Fellows is inspiring and rewarding for Mentors. We will ask for a minimum hourly commitment of 2 to 4 hours per participant per month. An honorarium stipend will be paid to the mentors .
