Masters in Education

We are inviting applications for a Masters in Education (Environmental Education) at Rhodes University.
 
This degree is aimed at researchers wanting to understand and strengthen environmental education practice, transformative learning and Education for Sustainable Development. New researchers will join a vibrant group of postgraduate researchers in a suite of programmes researching how education can be re-oriented towards creative agency, sustainable futures, capabilities development and social-ecological justice. Integral to these programmes is a critical perspective on educational quality and relevance.
 
Master’s researchers will participate in a structured programme giving insight into cross-cutting concerns in diverse educational contexts (school, higher education, training for a green economy, development, education and training in government, parastatal and NGO contexts, citizen science and more).


Deadline for applications is the 05 January 2021.
